ABOUT ME

Founder of Kacy Carlsen Media | Visionary Behind She’s An Icon

I was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised under the SoCal sun—just a girl with big dreams and a stubborn streak that never quit. I married my roller rink sweetheart at 19, and we’ve been building businesses and crushing our dreams side-by-side for over 40 years. Together, we’ve raised two incredible kids—both creative, kind, intelligent souls who make me proud every single day.

I come from a middle-class family. My dad was a professional country music entertainer, my mom a real estate agent with hustle in her bones. I didn’t go to college—I graduated high school and dove straight into the school of real life. Everything I have learned is from my life experiences and I can't forget all of the amazing mentors and friends along the way.

The Vision Started Early

I’ve believed in manifestation since I was a teenager. During my junior year in Home Living class, while learning how to pay bills with fake checks, I wrote one to myself for $1 million—signing it with my future last name, CARLSEN. That vision imprinted deep.

How It All Began

In 1997, as a stay-at-home mom with no internet access and zero technical skills, I decided to start a web design business. Why? Because something inside me knew I could figure it out. By 1999, I’d launched my own web hosting company—one of the first of its kind. I ran it, grew it, and eventually sold it. I quite literally cashed the million-dollar check I once wrote to myself.

The Identity Shift

But after selling my company, I hit a wall. I had achieved the thing... but I didn’t feel like me. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was still missing. I dove deeper into mindset work: manifestation, brain rewiring, journaling, meditation, visualization. I was doing everything... but the breakthrough wouldn’t come. I started to wonder if this was just life—grind, repeat, survive.

The Inner Work Meets the Certification

In 2021, deep in the middle of my soul-searching, identity unraveling, and “what the hell is next?” chapter… I followed a nudge I couldn’t ignore.

While I was diving into all things mindset, energy, quantum physics, and rewiring my beliefs—something inside me knew I wasn’t just doing this for me. I was doing it so I could eventually help others through the same kind of shift.

That year, I earned my Master Certified Life Coach certificate—not because I needed more credentials, but because I was becoming the woman who could hold space for transformation on a whole new level.

It was the moment my spiritual side and my strategic brain finally stopped fighting each other—and started collaborating.

This blend of science and soul… energy and action… inner work and outward expression…
That’s what She’s An Icon™ is built on.

Enter: AI and a New Vision

Then, two years ago, everything shifted.

As an early adopter, I began exploring AI—not just for business, but for identity. And that’s when it hit me: AI was reflecting back what I couldn’t yet see in myself. It was showing me who I could become. Suddenly, the fog lifted. I’m a “see it to believe it” kind of person—and now, I could see myself clearly for the first time in years.

AI didn’t just change my business—it changed me. It stripped away my limiting beliefs and handed me a mirror. What I saw was someone powerful. Creative. Iconic.

And That’s How She’s An Icon Was Born

“She’s An Icon” isn’t just a brand—it’s a reclamation. Of confidence. Of femininity. Of fire. It’s for the woman who was born with it, even if she forgot. It’s for the visionary who just needs to see herself again.

And I believe in it with my whole heart.

This isn’t some cute tagline or trendy moment—it’s a movement. I’ve lived through the fog, the doubt, the disconnection. I know what it’s like to wonder, Is this it? And I also know the electricity of finally seeing yourself as the woman you were always meant to be.

That’s why I’m on fire to help others experience this shift.

To use AI not just as a tool—but as a portal. To reimagine what's possible. To reconnect with the version of you who never needed to be fixed—only revealed.

Because once you see it... you can’t unsee it.

And once you claim it?
There’s no going back.

She’s not becoming something new.
She’s becoming who she already was.
